1. Introduction
Welcome to Scan-AI ("the App"). By using our App, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the App.
2. The Service
Scan-AI is a receipt scanning and management application that helps you:
- Scan and digitize receipts
- Extract and analyze receipt data
- Organize and categorize purchases
- Generate reports and insights
- Export data in various formats
3. Your Account
- You need an account to use Scan-AI
- Keep your password secure
- Provide accurate account information
- You're responsible for your account activity
4. Using Scan-AI
4.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to:
- Only upload receipts you have permission to use
- Not misuse or attempt to hack our services
- Not use the service for illegal purposes
- Not share your account with others
4.2 Data Usage
We use your receipt data to:
- Provide receipt scanning and analysis
- Improve our AI technology
- Generate insights and reports
- Maintain and improve the service
5. Changes to Service
We're constantly improving Scan-AI. We may add, change, or remove features. We'll notify you about significant changes through the app or email.
6. Termination
You can stop using Scan-AI at any time. We may also terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms.
7. Refunds and Billing
7.1 Payment Processing
We may invoice you for your use of the Services through a third party payment service provider. The third party service provider's terms of service shall govern and supersede this Agreement in case of conflict.
7.2 Cancellation
You are free to cancel your plan at any time. Upon cancellation:
- Any outstanding usage fees will be charged immediately
- You will not be refunded for the current pay period
- You will stop being charged after the current pay period has ended
7.3 Refund Policy
We offer refunds within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, provided you have used fewer than 20 receipts in that period. Month-to-month subscriptions can be canceled at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months. For refund requests, contact support@scan-ai.ca.
